Sin Chen Yeong is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), conveyancing and corporate law. A graduate of Malaysia Multimedia University, he was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2015. With a focus on delivering effective and cost-efficient legal solutions, he co-founded Sin Lim & Don, a firm committed to high-quality legal services and consultancy. He is strong believer in human rights and the accessibility of justice for all and takes on pro bono cases to support this cause.
He holds an AIAC Certificate in Sports Arbitration and is a panellist of the Asian Sports Tribunal. He is an accredited RICS Mediator and an empanelled mediator with the AIAC. Mr. Sin is also a registered foreign lawyer with the Singapore International Commercial Court. He has served as co-deputy chairperson of the Malaysian Bar National Young Lawyers and Pupils Commitee, and remains actively involved in pro bono work as a volunteer with the Melaka Legal Aid Centre.

Ms. Lim graduated from Multimedia University (Malaysia) in 2017 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2018. She founded Messrs. S.Y. Lim & Partners in 2022, which merged with Messrs. CHENYEONG and was renamed Messrs. Sin & Lim 2024.
Her practice focuses on conveyancing, real estate, and property financing, with extensive experience in subsides, tenancies, and developments across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. She regularly advises financial institutions on conventional and Islamic property financing, and assists foreign clients with real estate acquisitions in compliance with Malaysian regulations. Ms. Lim also handles corporate matters such as joint ventures, shareholding, and partnership agreements, as well as wills, estates, and trusts.

Donovan is a dedicated legal professional with over a decade of experience in various facets of law. A graduate of the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), he was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2012. After years of honing his legal expertise at several reputable law firms and within the Bar Council, Donovan founded Don & Partners in July 2022.
His legal journey is marked by numerous exposures in tax litigation, corporate finance, intellectual property, and conveyancing. Donovan’s experience also includes serving as an in-house lawyer for a top global accounting firm, where he further developed his skills in corporate and commercial law.
As the managing partner of Don & Partners, Donovan is committed to leading the firm with integrity and excellence. He is passionate about criminal litigation and continues to provide top-tier legal services to the firm’s corporate clients. Outside of his legal practice, Donovan proudly serves in the Malaysian Armed Forces Royal Military Police Corps (Territorial Army), embodying his dedication to both his country and legal profession.

Bisyri is a skilled legal professional with a background in both civil and Shariah law. She holds double degrees from the International Islamic University Malaysia and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2020. In the same year, she was also admitted as a Syarie Counsel of the Syariah High Court of federal Territories. Since joining Don & Partners as a Partner in March 2024, Bisyri has brought her extensive knowledge and experience in litigation to the forefront of the firm’s practice.
With proficiency in both civil and criminal litigation, Bisyri's portfolio is focused on general litigation, encompassing areas such as debt recovery, bankruptcy, and tortious claims. Her expertise extends beyond the courtroom, as she also provides advisory services and drafts various legal contracts, including Tenancy Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Partnership Agreements, and Joint Venture Agreements.
Bisyri’s experience includes representing both corporate and private clients in Malaysian courts, where she has served as both solicitor and defense counsel. Her commitment to delivering exceptional legal services makes her a valuable asset to the firm and a trusted advocate for her clients.

Ms Jia Yi graduated with LLB (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, UK in 10th June 2016 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in November 2017.
Upon called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on the 23rd April 2019, she joined Messrs. Andrew T.S. Goh & Khairil involving civil litigation and conveyancing. Subsequently, she joined Messrs. Wilson Leong & Co as legal assistant in September 2020 involving conveyancing and banking loan documentation agreement.
In Sin & Lim, she will be handling perfection of transfer/charge, Receipt and Reassignment, sale and purchase agreements and banking documentations. Apart from the above, she has vast experience in drafting and preparing housing developer’s agreement - Sch G and Sch H under the HDA.

Brenda was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019. Brenda strengthens the Sin Lim & Don team with her experience in family law and matrimonial matters. While her primary areas of practice are general litigation and family law, Brenda is also comfortable in corporate drafting and advisory. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese.

Ameera Irisha binti Idrus is an accomplished Advocate and Solicitor currently practising at Sin Lim & Don, bringing a meticulous and client-focused approach to legal practice. She was formally called to the Malaysian Bar on 3 March 2022, and since then has built a solid reputation for her expertise in banking litigation, general litigation, and dispute resolution, handling complex cases across contractual and tortious disputes.
Ameera’s legal journey began with her undergraduate studies in law at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), where she graduated with an LL.B (Hons). During her time at IIUM, she developed a strong foundation in both civil and commercial law, complemented by a keen interest in dispute resolution mechanisms and principles of Islamic law, which continue to inform her professional perspective.
Following her academic training, Ameera completed her pupillage at Hamidi & Farid in Seremban, gaining hands-on experience in litigation and legal advisory work. Although a native of Seremban, she proactively ventured into the legal industry in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, seeking broader exposure and the opportunity to handle high-profile and diverse matters. This move allowed her to cultivate a deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional practices and commercial legal landscapes in Malaysia.
In her practice at Don & Partners, Ameera has developed significant expertise in banking litigation, advising and representing clients in matters involving financial institutions, regulatory compliance, loan recovery, and enforcement proceedings. Beyond banking, her experience spans general litigation and dispute resolution, including complex contractual disputes, tort claims, and commercial disagreements. She is recognised for her meticulous attention to detail, analytical rigour, and the ability to craft strategic solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.
Driven by a commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to expand her knowledge in Islamic legal principles, Ameera is planning to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah, which will complement her litigation practice and further enhance her advisory capabilities in matters intersecting civil and Islamic law.
